In implementation of the ruling of the Federal Supreme Court on the salaries of the employees of the Kurdistan region, the Ministry of Finance decides to pay the salaries of the region's employees for the month of February

The Ministry of Finance is taking a number of measures in implementation of the ruling of the Federal Supreme Court No. (224 and its unit 269/federal/2023) dated 21/2/2024 related to the salaries of the region's employees, civilian and military retirees, martyrs, Anfal and contracts, and beneficiaries of the social protection network.
The court's correspondent stated that (based on the directives of His Excellency the Prime Minister and the approval of Her Excellency the Minister of Finance and based on the judgment issued by the Federal Supreme Court No. (224 unified with 269/federal/2023) and the request of the Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq - Council of Ministers / Ministry of Finance and Economy, the amount of financing the account was deposited in the attached letter No. (6429) dated 11/3/2024 in order to pay the dues of the departments of the Kurdistan region for the month of February 2024.
The court correspondent explained that the amount of financing the account was deposited in the letter No. (6368) dated 11/3/2024 attached in order to pay the entitlements of the disabled in the directorates of the Social Protection, Welfare and Social Development Network in the Kurdistan region for the month of February 2024.
He added that the amount of financing the account was deposited in the attached letter No. (6369) dated 11/3/2024 to pay the entitlements of civilian and military retirees in the Kurdistan region for the month of February 2024.
He also mentioned that the financing amount of the account was deposited in the letter No. (6400) dated 11/3/2023 attached in order to disburse the dues of martyrs, Anfal and contracts in the Kurdistan region for the month of February 2024.
He stated that the Ministry of Finance decided to pay the salaries of the region's employees for the month of February, and for the month of March, they are conditional of localization.
