   The Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives, Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Safadi, received on Saturday morning, 9/3/2024, the President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Muhammad Abboud, and his accompanying judicial delegation.

The correspondent of the Court stated that Mr. Ahmed Safadi indicated that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is determined to find strong relations with the Republic of Iraq stemming from the feeling of the Kingdom's King, people and government that these relations must stem from historical, humanitarian, social and political ties, and that His Majesty King Abdullah is very keen on the need to build Iraq to serve the Iraqi people and the entire region due to Iraq's regional and international influence, and that the Kingdom seeks to provide all assistance in that. Safadi stressed that building these relations must go beyond formal matters, and that this should be based on the sincere human feeling that the Jordanian people have towards Iraq.

The court's correspondent stated that the President of the Federal Court stressed that Iraq seeks with firm steps to build political, economic, social and judicial relations with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and that the relations between the two brotherly peoples impose that cooperation and that the Federal Court works within the framework of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq for the year 2005, and in light of its specific competencies under Article 93 of the Constitution, and that this must be intended to contribute to building the state on humanitarian and moral foundations based on spreading justice, lifting injustice and preserving The sanctity of public funds and their use to serve the people, in a way that contributes to achieving social justice and the obligation to work to preserve the unity of the nation.

The Iraqi and Jordanian peoples possess all the humanitarian and moral elements that qualify them to be the object of regional and international influence, and the President of the Federal Supreme Court thanked the Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament for the great feelings he holds towards Iraq and its people.
