The Federal Supreme Court decides to set 28/2/2023 as the date for pleading the case with the number (216/Federal/2022)

In the lawsuit claiming the dues of the General Company for Food Stuff Trade from the Kurdistan Regional Government.

The Federal Supreme Court decides to set 28/2/2023 as the date for pleading the lawsuit No. (216/Federal/2022), filed before it by the plaintiff, the General Manager of the General Company for Food Trading, in addition to his job, according to which the judgment is required to oblige the defendants to the Minister of Commerce and Industry in the Kurdistan Region and the Director General of the General Directorate of Trade in Erbil, in addition to their jobs, to pay the amounts realized by their debts amounting to one hundred and eighteen billion, two hundred and seven million, four hundred and sixty-three thousand and fifty Iraqi dinars, as a result of the sale of ration card items to the governorates of (Erbil, Dohuk, Sulaymaniyah) in the Kurdistan region for the period from 1/1/2004 to 30/9/2021 according to the value of the processed materials and the number of individuals receiving them, because the regional government received the ration card items from the central government and distributed them to the citizens of the Kurdistan region and received its cash allowances from citizens and did not pay them to the Ministry of Commerce based on the provisions of Article (93/4th) of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq for the year 2005, as this court postponed the pleading for the absence of the defendants in addition to their functions despite the notification and in order for the court to complete its audits.
