Visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Algeria to the Federal Supreme Court

  The President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Mohamed Abboud, received on Sunday 28/4/2024 the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.

During the meeting, they discussed the development of relations between the two friendly countries and the enhancement of joint cooperation in all fields, the need for communication and continuous meetings, and the memorandum of understanding signed between the Federal Supreme Court and the Algerian Constitutional Court in June 2023 was discussed.

The Algerian Ambassador explained that his country is looking forward to building strong relations with the Iraqi side at various levels, especially in the field of constitutional justice, and praised the independence of the Iraqi judiciary and the role of the Federal Supreme Court in consolidating constitutional and democratic principles to ensure building a parliamentary system based on the rule of law and praised the historical relations between the Iraqi and Algerian peoples and will work to create an atmosphere for the development of relations between the two countries in various fields.
