   The President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Mohammed Abboud, received on Monday, 6/5/2024, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Armenia in Baghdad, Mr. Robin Sogoyan, at the headquarters of the Federal Supreme Court in Baghdad.

The President of the Federal Supreme Court welcomed the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Armenia in Baghdad, and during the meeting, they stressed the keenness of the Federal Supreme Court to establish bilateral relations with international constitutional courts to exchange legal experiences in the field of constitutional justice to develop it and benefit from the accumulated experiences of constitutional courts in a way that contributes to the correct democratic construction and the preservation of public and private rights and freedoms.

The Chargé d'Affaires of Armenia explained that he will work to open new horizons of cooperation between the two countries at various levels, especially in the field of constitutional justice, and praised the independence of the Iraqi judiciary and the role of the Federal Supreme Court in consolidating constitutional and democratic principles to ensure the construction of a parliamentary system based on the rule of law.
