The President of the Federal Supreme Court receives the Romanian ambassador.

   

On Sunday, May 25, 2025, Mr. Chief Justice of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jasim Mohamed Aboud, welcomed the Romanian Ambassador Radu Octavian Dupree and his accompanying delegation at the headquarters of the Federal Supreme Court.

During the meeting, ways to enhance relations between Iraq and Romania were discussed, as well as strengthening joint cooperation in judicial fields. The head of the court emphasized the importance of exchanging legal expertise in the field of constitutional justice and explained that the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq of 2005 established the fundamental principles of rights and freedoms and the construction of constitutional institutions and a fair electoral system.
