The President of the Federal Supreme Court receives the President of the Supreme Judicial Council

 The President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Muhammad Abboud, received in his office in Baghdad on Thursday (19/12/2024), the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Faiq Zaidan.

The President of the Federal Supreme Court welcomed the President of the Supreme Judicial Council and his accompanying delegation, and stressed that the Iraqi judiciary has played an important role in imposing the rule of law and preserving the democratic experience. The necessity of working for the rule of law, considering the people as the source and legitimacy of the authorities, and the obligation to abide by the provisions of the Constitution with regard to all the fundamental rights of the Iraqi people stipulated in the Constitution.
