   The President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Muhammad Abboud, received on Monday, 3/6/2024, the Ambassador of Spain in Baghdad, Mr. Pedro Martínez Afial, at the headquarters of the Federal Supreme Court in Baghdad.

The President of the Federal Supreme Court welcomed the Spanish Ambassador in Baghdad, and during the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two countries in various fields, benefit from European experiences, and stress the importance of strengthening them in the interest of the two friendly countries.

The Spanish ambassador in Iraq explained that his country is looking forward to building strong relations with the Iraqi side at various levels, especially in the field of constitutional justice, and praised the independence of the Iraqi judiciary and the role of the Federal Supreme Court in consolidating constitutional and democratic principles to ensure building a parliamentary system based on the rule of law.
